The Sims won the category in the old market, but because of generative AI, there will be headwinds.
My current assessment is that their stronghold on the market revolves around the game engine's versatility, life simulation depth, and its ability to foster user creativity through mods and expansions.
I think there is a high likelihood this will be overturned in the next 5-10 years.
